Mistissini is the largest Cree community of the James Bay Crees of Quebec, Canada. The Cree Nation of Mistissini is situated at the south-east end of Mistassini Lake. Mistissini is also in the center of the largest wildlife reserve as well as the largest freshwater lake in Quebec.

The Mistissini Crees have been in the tourism industry for many years offering fishing, adventure and cultural packages. Our fishing packages are of high quality (American and European plan) and provide above standard lodging facilities.

Mistissini is accessible by road and by airplane. By road, Mistissini is a nine hour drive from Montreal. By airplane, Mistissini has flights from Montreal to the regional airport which is a scenic one hour drive away from Mistissini.

You can also purchase your Quebec provincial fishing license or your daily access permits for fishing at the Mistissini tourism office or simply if you need more information about the community along with the services it has to offer, the Mistissini tourism department will be at your service to provide you with assistance.
